Chloe-D. Brocard was born in the 1950s, in the Lausanne region.
His professional career has mainly taken place in the world of books and publishing until life circumstances force him to change course; it was there that she decided to let her need to create speak for itself. It was first through collages. Then the meeting, and the work, with painters, such as Francis Renevey and Vreni Barilier, confirmed her in the choice of her favorite material, acrylic, which she has now been exploring for almost 10 years.
Chloé defines her work as being a fine line of demarcation between abstraction and figuration, on which she likes to walk, tilting sometimes in one and sometimes in the other, according to the frame that appears on the canvas.
Its primary requirement is color, always omnipresent, even in its most discreet forms, posed in such a way that the work achieves the transparency and the vibrations desired so that it can be considered by its author as completed.
