Chloe-D. BROCARD

Chloé-D. Brocard C.jpg

Chloe-D. Brocard was born in the 1950s, in the Lausanne region.

His professional career has essentially taken place in the worlds of books and publishing until life circumstances forced him to change course; this is where she decided to let her need to create speak for itself. It was first through collages. Then the meeting, and the work, with painters, such as Francis Renevey and Vreni Barilier, confirmed her in the choice of her favorite material, acrylic, which she has now been exploring for almost 10 years.

Chloé defines her work as being a thin line of demarcation between abstraction and figuration, on which she likes to walk, switching sometimes in one, sometimes in the other, according to the frame that appears on the canvas.

His first requirement is color, always omnipresent, even in its most discreet forms, applied in such a way that the work achieves the desired transparency and vibrations so that it can be considered by its author as completed.
