Jean Luc Virard - BOUN, is a Chinese-Vietnamese painter, impregnated with the abstract current of "lyrical expressionism", born in 1962 in Vientiane (Laos) and settled since 1973 in France.
He is an Academician of the International Academy of Arts (AIA) and a member of several institutions such as: the European Academy of Arts (AEAF), National Federation of French Culture (FNCF) European ArtGroup (EAG).
He has been travelling and being inspired by the culture of the world for more than 30 years. His absolute freedom allows him all the audacity and offers him a vast field of inspiration. His passion for colors is reflected in his works. He creates his own mix of colors, made of natural pigments from around the world and associated with various precious stones that enhance the brilliance of his works.
